Endocannabinoids concentration in brown bear muscle and adipose tissue. Concentration of three major endocannabinoids compounds in bear muscle and adipose tissue. Tissues were collected from bears at both winter-hibernating and summer-active time points (Supplementary Table S1). Data are expressed in pg/mg and are represented as mean ± SEM of separate extractions and quantifications (n = 5 for muscle tissue and n = 6 for adipose tissue). Paired Student t-test were used to compare wummer and winter data. *** indicates p value < 0.0001 when comparing seasons, NS: non significant.
