Overview of the current knowledge of the eyes of fossorial lizards in a phylogenetic context. The tree topology and nomenclature are from [42] (several supra-familiar clades were collapsed for simplicity). The percentages of fossorial species were calculated from [2]. Clades with similar proportions of fossorial species are coded in grey scale to ease visualization.
