Body distribution of COM, PAR and PER poison glands in the four studied toads. Note that only in Rhinella schneideri and Rhinella jimi poison glands of type PAR are also present disperse on the dorsal skin, forming large numbers of aggregates, mainly in R. jimi. In this latter species PAR glands are also present on the ventral face, forming large accumulations on the pectoral region.
