Path analysis of the relationship between clutch size, baseline CORT and telomere length in the low latitude and high latitude populations. Path analysis was conducted with average values of nest boxes (low latitude, N = 12 nests; high latitude, N = 13 nests). Also shown are the residuals (e1, e2), which combine all unexplained effects and measurement errors. Indicated are the path coefficients (cp). The path coefficients give the strengths of the relationships between pairs of variables when the influences of previous variables are accounted for. Values in bold indicate path coefficients statistically significant (P < 0.05)
