Time-course changes of zebrafish monocarboxylate transporters ( drmct s) transcripts levels in brain during 18°C treatment. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) were utilized to compare drmct s mRNA expressions in brains between 28°C control group and 18°C cold treatment counterparts. Zebrafish ribosomal protein L13A (drrpl13a) was used as an internal control. Values are presented as the mean ± SD (n = 6). Different letters indicate significant differences between treatments. (One-way ANOVA, Tukey’s pairwise comparisons, p < 0.05). Gray panels: 28°C control; striped panels: 18°C treatment for 1 h; white panels: 18°C treatment for 24 h.
