HDAC inhibitors (1:1 SAHA (1 mg/ml) and sodium butyrate (20 mg/ml)) significantly increased the survival of larvae following injury and hemolymph loss, whereas HAT inhibitor (500 μg/ml) significantly reduced the survival of larvae following injury and hemolymph loss, in each case in comparison to control larvae treated with 1% DMSO.
