The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 (exact masses 245.07(5), 380.03(4), 367.17(6) and 355.18(7) Da, respectively) label components of the DNA preparation not yet identified. These are potential lesions preventing PCR amplification from these samples. They are not present in the youngest specimens.
